Lidingö runt 2010 – resultat och tracking

Idag seglade jag Lidingö runt ombord på Mach 1, se även tidigare inlägg direkt från båten. Vi gjorde en bra start där vi kom iväg bland de tre första men kanske aningen närmare Lidingölandet än önskat. En liten klunga närmare Stockholm fick ett försprång. Vi hade en fin kryss upp längs Lidingös östra sida där vi seglade in mot många uddar och fick bra lyft både in och ut från land. Eftersom det syns hyfsat väl på trackingen ovan var det visst inte bara positivt tänkande från mig ombord. Klicka här för att se en större version av kartan.

Askrikefjärden bjöd på en väldigt brant slör där vi precis lyckades bära spinnakern hela vägen. Efter säsongens första spinnakergipp precis utanför Djursholm toppade vi 11.6 knop. Vi bar faktiskt spinnakern ända in i mål. Det kan inte vara vanligt att man åker spinnaker hela vägen från Duvholmen.

Preliminärt resultat i mål blev nia av tjugo startande båtar i vår klass, SRS 0 grupp 2. Det skiljde bara 12 sekunder mellan sjätte och nionde plats på korrigerad tid så den där broachen på mållinjen var aningen försmädlig. Å andra sidan så är sådant tänkande bara vad Dave Perry kallar “The if only Blues”. Och den har jag ju lovat mig själv att inte sjunga…
