Idag var jag och Krister Gustafsson ute på första träningsseglingen inför Watski 2 Star Baltic som startar 26 maj. Vi hann med två stycken tvåtimmars pass ute på Vättern med en snabb lunch i hamn. Förhållandena var vårlika. 10 grader i luften, 7 i vattnet och 9-10 sekundmeter från väst. Vi hann med att testa genua 3 och skifte till genua 4, sättning av alla tre reven i storen samt sättning, nedtagning och gipp med båda gennakrarna. Vi blev också kompisar med vattenballasten om 230 kilo och de för säsongen nya backstagen. På bilden ligger Bandito med vattenballasten fullpumpad på styrbordssidan vilket kan anas på lutningen. En stor eloge till Krister och hans pappa Stig som fixat en lång lista små och stora jobb på båten.
Torrdräkten från Ursuit kom väl till pass i det kalla vårvädret. På bilden med korslagda hängslen efter inspiration från Ulf Brännström på Naciran SWE-772. Jag körde första passet med vanlig hängselföring och då glider hängslena gärna av axlarna under smocken. Korslagt kan varmt rekommenderas!
