Denna säsong kommer jag segla 606 med Thomas Lundberg på SWE-890. Thomas och jag träffades i samband med 606-seglingarna hos S606K i Islinge förra säsongen. Idag sitter vi också båda i styrelsen för 606-förbundet. Vi siktar på att segla alla fem regattor i rikscupen inklusive SM i Lidköping. Träna gör vi mestadels på tisdagar i S606K:s regi. Thomas kommer styra och jag gasta. Jag är grymt taggad!

Nice to see a 606 campaign log with actual crew roles sorted out — Thomas steering, you on the jib, Tuesday sessions at S606K. That division of labor is basically half the battle in a two-person boat. Five rikscup races plus SM in Lidköping is a full calendar, though. Curious whether you’ll keep the same setup all season or swap after Tjörn Runt. The shared-city, everyone-is-a-real-player angle in Lagos Life (lagos-life.xyz) scratches a similar itch when I can’t get on the water.

Given the full calendar with five rikscup races and SM, do you expect to keep the same Thomas-steering setup through Tjörn Runt, or might longer distance change who takes the jib?

Following your 606 season with SWE-890 sounds great — five regattas is an ambitious target. I keep my own race notes and season plans in WordCraft, a free open-source word processor that works fully offline: WordCraftApp. Fair winds for the season!

Att skriva om en nysatsning redan innan säsongen dragit igång är modigt, för då måste man också följa upp den senare. Det som gör det här värt att läsa är att målen är konkreta och inte bara handlar om placeringar, utan om hur teamet ska byggas över tid.
