Mini Transat är en solokappsegling över Atlanten.

Jag köpte båten i La Rochelle 2009 och hade henne på Atlantkusten tills jag seglade hem henne till Stockholm 2011. Vintern 2008/2009 förbereddes båten inför Mini Transat 2009 av den tidigare ägaren som är utbildad båtkonstruktör på Southamptons universitet för båtdesign. Hans dröm om Mini Transat blev inte verklighet den gången. Båten är därmed relativt lite kappseglad och i toppskick.

Båten är optimerad för att segla ensam men funkar lika bra för två. Den hydrauliska autopiloten med gyro och true wind option från NKE är världsledande bland soloseglare. Det är en fascinerande känsla att sitta med fjärrkontrollen på fördäck när båten planar fram i havssjö med stora spinnakern uppe.
