Har just vinkat av sjömannen och Pogo 650-veteranen Niclas Domack i Skanör. Tillsammans har vi seglat 975 sjömil från Douarnenez i Frankrike till Skanör i Skåne, Sverige.
För mig har det varit otroligt skönt att ha med en så duktig och glad seglare som Niclas på den bitvis ganska tuffa etappen.
Vi har haft rikligt med regn varje dag. Men vinden har varit akterifrån och frisk till hård hela tiden. I medel runt 20 knop, 10 m/s. Som mest hade vi 40 knops vind på Nordsjön. Vi har haft långa perioder där vi snittat 9-10 knop.
Båten är verkligen helt fantastisk att segla. Känslan när gurglet från kölvattnet tystnar och ersätts med ett visslande från roderbladen när båten planar får man aldrig nog av.
Midsommarafton firades med perfekta förhållanden i sydvästra Östersjön med kursen satt på södra Sverige. Solen gick upp i fören och Alizé II rusade norrut som en glad delfin. Hon verkar trivas i vår bräckta sjö.
